At its meeting on October 16, 2024, the Northern Montgomery County Recycling Commission (“Commission”) received a presentation from Students Against Violating the Earth (“SAVE”).  SAVE is a group of Souderton Area High School students whose goal is to create a sustainable world by spreading information about environmental problems and encouraging public involvement in the solutions.  The Commission awarded a $500.00 grant to SAVE to be used to advertise community recycling events, provide public information, and promote environmental awareness.
